“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.”
“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”
"Throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
As a traveler myself, I know the excitement you may feel when visiting a new country. Also, the confusion. Perhaps a traveler's greatest fear is getting lost and looking foolish. We all want to be like our host country's locals. We want to be where they are and do what they do. That's where I come in.
What I do: As your guide, you can expect the tour you want, curated just for you, in areas your guidebook won't know about. We can see the famous sites, but dip into a chic, local cafe. We can go souvenir shopping in a small, specialty store. We can get special seats at a Sumo event. It's your tour. As a plus, I will take beautiful photos of your experience.
Why I do it: Tokyo is a thrilling place. Sometimes it's a sensory overload for visitors. I love the feeling of helping others, teaching them new things, and sharing what I love about this big city.
Don't be afraid. You can be as specific, or as broad as you need to be. I'll work it out with you later.
I'm looking forward to curating this travel experience for you.
